very awesome. i have a black 05 ss/sc myself. my friends were an inspiration to me to get a fast car. one of my friends just bought a SRT-10 Truck with a 200 shot of NOS to replace his STI and my other friend has a stage 2 supercharged M3 with a 75 shot of NOS.

Yay! I'm not the only girl who moved up from j-bodies to delta. I got rid of my 98 Cavalier RS in favor of my 05 SS/SC about 3 months ago. Congrats on the awesome car!!!!

thanks ladies and gents....i have lots of plans for the cobalt. i had the car for 5 mins and already my boyfriend was cutting diamond plate mats. LOL i put away a lot of money..almost too much for me to bare spending on a vehicle for mods in one shot. im planning on doing about 8 grand in body work and paint work in the next 4 months. trying to find adapters for the rims i have they are universals but still didnt fit the 5x110 pattern on the cobalt or they would be on the car already. i dont know how well 20s are gonna fit...oh well...push the limits . also if my funds go well should have the stereo and a few tvs by april 06 in time for show season. luckily work has been very lucrative allowing me to sink a lot into this car fast....plus i LOVE cars, LOVE shows...also work for GM and help my bf with his aftermarket and performance shop as well. my life revolves around cars. ;-)

yep hustedt chevy..i ordered that months ago and its been mine since it showed up but my goddamn employee discount didnt get applied till friday since its an 06 and GMS only applied to 05 models. it worked out for the better ...i got an almost fully loaded model with the lsd and ricaro seats, sunroof, and side impact airbags with about 3200 in rebates and incentives. i waited a month while it was on the lot which was nerve racking. I also work there but shhhh. LOL ive been there about 5 months and if you have ever come in for service you have probably seen me around. Cars are an evergrowing learning experience, ive been into actually showing for about 3 years but only got into the maintanance and upkeep part as of recently so i know some stuff but def. do not claim to know everything about cars. i just find that its a practical hobby and it cant hurt to learn about your vehicle

good to see women into fixing up cars. welcome to the site. i'm gonna go on a hunch and say you like fixing up your cars "show" style. your other cars are deffinently in the show class and looks like you plan on doing it w/ your new cobalt. good luck w/ your future mods and hope to see you posting often on the forums. keep us updated as you keep on dumping money on your ride.

I dig the 2.0 but the cav with those 20's not so hot in my opinion. Nice car but those things look too big for a cav. The truck and the probe are cool. I really like the truck. still not sre about them spinners. seems a litle overkill. anyway just my opinion. Nice to see the female population growing on this site. Good luck with the car.

Welcome
SS: Nice!
Cav: Horrible. All that money and no engine work? 20's on a friggen cav? An evo hood on a j-body? Altezzas? Yuck yuck yuck. Not to mention the "i'm a *****" logo on the sub box
Truck: Nice! Spinners are not my thing though, def not on a pickup.
Probe: TERRIBLE. That spoiler is disgusting. (Its front wheel drive by the way!!). Paint is gross. Stickers are gross. Yuck yuck yuck.
Please don't wreck your Cobalt. Put that money under the hood.
