I wish I had the G-85 option. This was the only car within 96 miles of my house and the closes one with that option was 208 miles away. I needed the car that day so I took it.
It was stickerd for just under 23,000 I paid just under 18,000 for it so I could not complain to much.

whoa! Looks just like my car very pretty! I live in MI too. I am in clinton township, got my car at buff whelan. Where are you located? I got two cobalts now :P
when you get miles on the car it will improve by maybe .5 more per gallon. Right now I get about 25-26. City driving I get about 23-24
I would wait for the hurst shifter to come out. The B&M has a cheap feeling and maybe not fit your liking.
Wheel hop can be fixed with torque braces that take 10 minutes to install and I have the K&N intake, I'm loving it!

2) dont have one so dont know
3) Yes
4) Take it easy in first, dont slam it and dont give it a high rev launch, feathering will kill the clutch so use the im late for work method.
5) yes some do but I dont ... too many cel errors at the moment so im gonna purchase almost all my items at or around the gm stage kit release so I can get the pcm flash

yea, i'm averaging around 21-22mpg, mostly city (suburb) driving though to and from work/school. wheel hop sux, but you can control it once you get the feel of the car. however, torque braces will help, or motor/trans mounts also help. weapon R also makes an "engine dampener" that helps (there is a thread under the drivetrain section i believe...search for it). just wait till you start upgrading...traction issues out the ass. good luck with the car though...looks good.
Myself, I ordered an AEM cold air intake w/ the dryfilter from sportcompactsonly.com for a mere $180 shipped! and it won't throw cel's (or so I hear).
