Sweet. Looks real good
Hope you never have to park in a low garage. You won’t be able to get out of the car Can you measure from the ground to the highest point of the door when they are up?

I always figured vertical doors to be more of a show car thing. Doesn't look bad, though!

Funny you mention that right now my car is parked under a ramp, with the vert doors i'd be going out the window.

Hey man, I was wondering what kit you went with. I'm assuming it is the 60 degree one. How difficult is it getting in and out. How bad was the install, I guess you took the fenders off.

thanks guys. It took a weekend for the first door after finally figuring out how to get it to fit good. But the second door took about 2 hours for install. The hinge needed to be tampered off to bring the front part of the door in. I went with the Vertical Doors, Inc. kit. I have gotten a couple good comments around town but i only drove it to the gas station. And i am doing the show route for those who dont like them.

those are cool and all but if u ever got in one with those doors and tried to close the door u wouldnt get them trust me

its such a bitch to close the door and better yet if u had a 100 pound G/F u would have to open and close the door for her ever single time

but after awhile it gets old

if u look in my garage u would see i had a show car minus the paint job and it was a daily driver

i didnt even take it to 1 show with the system all done either cause car shows get old fast

ya i no that ive been doing shows for a good 3 to 4 years but u start to see the same cars at ever show after awhile

trust me u will see once u spent all ur money on ur car

then 5 year later think how ******* stupid it was and why i did that for

u will be lucky to get 5 grand for the car as well to

i dont mean to flame u ur ride is nice but u will regret it down the road thats all just my 2 cents

ive learned modding cars isnt worth it after i put 30 or 40 gs cdn into a cavalier

you dont think i know that you wont get all the money back you put into a car? I only seen 2 cobalts at all the shows ive been to last year. I know there will be more popping up next year but i like going to car shows. And who the hell are you to come in here and flame. Its a freakin hobby, which I enjoy. Im sure there are people on here that agree with me that its about being original. Dont hate.

not hating dude

just giving u my 2 cents sry if i sound like im flaming u

just now in my age i would rather spend 30 gs on the motor alone instead of the body

dont get me wrong i love cars and everything about them but ive grown out of modding the body and look of cars thats all

Doors look awesome man. Do they only open vertically or can they swing out, stock-like?
