very very very nice read ... after reading that twin charge setup it almost seems like you would be prolonging the cars life by running at an almost always lower inlet temperature ... no? to top it all off our cars have an intercooler so having said that wouldn't the end result be an even cooler 20psi to the engine? (well using the example it would be 19 psi after hitting the supercharger intercooler ...no?)

Remember two things...
1. Can your engine Handle 20 Psi... Never unless you build it
2. Is it worth all the extra weight and the pulley or could you do the same thing with one big turbo...
It's a very cool idea for a showcar but even though it proves to be impressive at making HP, it's very complicated when compared to just a S/C or just a Turbo.
The parasidic drain of spinning the S/C is a bit of a negative plus the additional weight of all that **** is just too much.
Can we agree that in reality, if the same car was simply turboed at one Psi more than the Turbo/Super and the intercooler was made a bit bigger to compensate for the heat, it would be a better performer.
My point is this, if it was that good, we would all be doing it.. NO?
Believe me, I am not "Poo Pooing" the idea, it's wonderful to think way outside the box sometimes...

wait now im lost at this intercooler deal ... the air to water intercooler that the ss uses ... does that mean that there are two intercoolers??? wasn't there a video that showed how the super charger works and in the video wasn't it an example of the inter ... inter cooler? does that mean we have two? sorry im feeling really retarded with so much info flying around ... where am I?
