HEY EVERYONE - I FINALLY GOT HOME!!!!!
I GOT GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS
Good news=My car didnt blow up on the dyno
Good news=I made it home
Good news=My car is SOOOO SICK!!! Sounds so SICK, drives so SICK!!!
Good news=0 tickets on the way home<-- well kinda-will explain lol
Good news=ZZP is awsome and did GREAT work! <-- Props to the *other* MATT for all the hard work and hours.
Good news=My car made the power I wanted
Good news=Yeah the dyno from zoomer was with my TRU BOOST turned OFF and 10 PSI, and was a joke to get you stirred up, when he told me I just HAD to laugh
Good news=ZZP brought in a camera guy to film dyno's and other footage to put together a nice video for me and them, I am so EXCITED to see it!!!
Bad News=Didn't get to race ANYONE on the 10 hour drive home!!
Bad News=Driving in WI-6 hours into trip-on curise control going 70 in a 65-pass a cop in the middle median-get pulled over for EXHAUST not being STOCK? I was like WTF? He saw that I was from MN and just gave me a warning-So I hit the magical 250whp setting and slowly drove off
Bad News=THERE IS NO MORE BAD NEWS!!!!
Okay, so here is the rest of my story starting today at 10am! check out time baby!
Tim comes to get me at 10am, get back to ZZP and was told the car is being tuned today and I made sure that he knew the power and settings I wanted.
I waiting in the waiting room watching STAR WARS and all of a sudden I heard something, it was the dyno starting up. I stand up and go over by the door to hear.
I just about fell over when my car spooled up and I heard the BOV, I had the biggest smile on my face I have ever had before I was like **** yeah!!!!
After lunch I went into the dyno area and talked with Matt and the guys for the rest of the day doing pull after pull and learning all about this setup and how to get what I want out of it.
Using the TRU BOOST I can run with it OFF and be at *250whp* 10psi max-
I currently have 2 settings A and B. I am running A at 17psi *340whp* and B is going to be my PERSONAL MAX power setting of 22psi *400whp* (I can do this on pump gas, but I am going to be smart and use race gas when running this high). I love that I can change this in 2 sec and I can change the boost for both settings in under 15 sec.
My MAF as you will see in the dyno gets MAXED out, and if I had not been satisfied with my MAGIC number, I would have had them switch it out, however I will mess with that in the future when I go for 500whp!
OKAY LADIES AND GENTELMAN ARE YOU READY FOR THE GRAND FINALE!!!
THIS WAS ON A VERY CONSERVITAVE TUNE\TIMING
MY MASTER PULL WAS A 435WHP * 410WHP CORRECTED---- REMEMBER I only wanted 300whp=350whp=400whp. The MAF was the other reason why I didnt even bother for more power, knowing that with more tweaking and better MAF I should be able to match ZZP 440whp and RACE GAS it for 500whp but that is not anytime soon.
ANYWAY THANKS TO ZZP FOR AWSOME WORK, AND I LOVE MY CAR. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS KIT TO ANYONE, AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS. ZZP TOOK CARE OF ME AND I AM GLAD I WENT WITH THIS SETUP. IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO SEND PM'S, OTHERWISE I AM GOING TO ENJOY MY CAR!!

congrats man.
I knew he was just ******* with us, which is why I kept my mouth shut lol. AS i always said, I'm not here to bash, just always asked for proof. That is a very nice dyno sheet right there, power under the curve, is well, a lot lol. Should be a blast at the track on sticky tires
And as long as you don't "abuse" the car, the stock motor will last at 400whp all day on pump gas (like not heat soaking back to back to back pulls will = death).

Matt- thanks for coming out and for having patience while we worked through a few delays. It was an eventful last couple days. I'm just glad we were able to get the car running strong in the end.
Update on the fuel pressure issue- we ended up dropping the tank and disabled the factory regulator. Matt has our boost-referenced system, so it worked out well in the end. We also had to quickly come up with some new boost control ideas so Matt could use his AEM Tru-boost gauge/boost controller. These two things set us back a few more hours since we had to start over with the tune as well as dial in the blower control in the PCM.
In the end, the car was making around 360-370 whp when we maxed the MAF. This was unfortunate because his turbo (S259ET) really gets efficient at higher boost levels. We were able to make a pull up to 6200 RPM with the boost turned up, but it was leaning out quickly at that point, so we set the max boost lower to avoid lean-out issues on the street. We will be working with Matt on some MAF mods to allow some more room to grow. We will also have a similar setup on our silver '06 SS soon, and we will be taking it to the track this spring.
Words of wisdom right there. That's the main thing we try to stress to customers putting down a lot of power. It must be respected. Hotlapping at the track or just generally beating the crap out of a car making far more power than it was designed for will almost always end badly. Lets all hope Matt enjoys his car with minimal downfalls.

Thanks everyone for you support, and I am loving my car. Hell I am even trying to take off work tonight, just to go and drive it!! lol..... $4100 for this kit was well worth it, especially INSTALLED and WARRANTY! all the extra goodies to get me to $7200 was worth it as well. I will forsure keep eveyone up to date and will be at the MOA meet on the 14th. If there is any bigger meet this spring\summer, I will forsure try to come as long as I know when and where!
