LNF swap?

Does anyone know if it is even possible to swap an LNF engine into the Cobalt? I'm sure someone has thought of this? Care to chime in Adam?

isn't the lnf rear wheel drive? but out of curiosity, why would you want to swap for an engine that maybe puts out a few more whp? that's the most expensive way to get 20 hp.

The LNF isn't in a production FWD car as of yet. Just RWD. Probably a pain in the but right now until GM puts it into a FWD.

umm not 100% positive but i believe that my dad (works at a GM plant) said that a while back the HHR SS that was in development at the time is set up for AWD

Yeah I think the LNF is more for RWD setups. And you're right It wouldnt make much sense for me to swap engines. Engine swaps are for hondas anyway. lol. I was just curious if it could be done. Doesnt the LNF have VVT?

****, you could buy an LE5, get forged pistons and turbo charge that for less in money and headaches than I'd imagine it'd cost for an LNF swap

for you LS/LT guys it might be a descent swap! I know I won't be doing it because I'll swap in a slower motor!
