all i can say is good work Fred, looks like youre making some progess.
Fred tuned my friends LNF and that car is holding up just fine without any issues whatsoever. **** will happen no matter who tunes it sometimes, people miss shifts, over rev, and drive like tool bags.
Hell i blew the motor in my nova, it hasnt been touched for 7 years, musta been that ******* that put the carb on there 8 years ago!!!
just leave this thread to the remote mount progress/build. bunch of little kids around here. if you dont have anything good to say just leave it be.

Next year I plan to have fred twincharge my car, currently I am doing prep work for that, by selling my exhaust, getting clutch / nbs installed ( hopefully within a month ) then doing head work, then i should be ready to start gathering parts for my twin charge build.

I know the ZZP Twincharged car I worked on had some crazy vacuum routing and solenoids inline. Before we got all of the lines straightened out the s/c was working but not fully in the midrange. As soon as we got the routing right, it was a different car. I had very similar issues on my Matrix that is twincharged, once I nailed the vacuum routing down the midrange was a LOT more stout. Not sure if SMG is messing with that at all or not, just throwing some info out for my limited experience with it
Car def sounds nice on the dyno, mini exhaust out of the turbo makes for a LOT of turbo noise. I like!!

He blew his turbo, not the motor...

Something with a roller follower and I honestly don't remember what else. None the less, it wasn't a toasted engine.
The car showed up at my house knocking and clacking, I even told him then I didn't want to tune it to avoid this exact conversation. He said he took it to the dealer and they claimed the car was just fine, it clearly was NOT. He said, give it hell and let's break it. So we did.
Is this normal for me? Absolutely not lol. I did what he wanted..

yea there is still work that needs to be done with the product. I currently have been having problems with mine ever since I got it done from lifters breaking, couplers not handling the boost and breaking, oil lines condensating oil, scavenge pumps failing, oil in charge pipe, various oil leaks and exhaust leaks and now a blown head gasket. This is only the 2nd twincharge car Fred has built so far but it will probably be sometime until it is perfected. Unfortunetly I'm most likely stripping the car and selling it soon after I replace the head gasket since I can't afford the frequent service needed to be done to the car and the inconvenience of not having it for long periods of time. Definitely was a fun car while it worked though!

The reason I don't have 2 cars is because I put every last bit of money I had and now don't have to get the car to where it is now and fix it all the time.
