Supercharger intercooler question

Supercharger intercooler question
Would i be able to, when it comes out, mount a intercooler to the GM supercharger. Ive heard that it would be a better S/C if it had some means of having colder air flown into it. I dont know much about this type of stuff. I know what it does and how it works but i dont know how to install.

Good news, the 2.0 S/C comes intercooled FROM THE FACTORY!! woooo hooo!!! That means that the pressurized (and therefore heated) air from the supercharger runs through the intercooler to cool it down and make it denser before it enters the cylinders. Cold air = dense air. Dense air = more power and more efficient engine because of the higher concentration of oxygen to burn the fuel.

Oh you know how it works.... sorry I misread that ops: . Forgive my somewhat simple explanation, maybe it will help someone else though.
One thing I'm wondering about is whether there will be aftermarket support in the form of larger and better intercoolers for the SS S/C. I'm sure that would really help in terms of more immediate power, as well as be an addition to other mods like a smaller diameter supercharger pulley.

Go to a junk yard, pull an m45 or m60, get all the mounting parts, pulleys, etc. then throw an FMIC on. Lots of people use the m45's on Probes. Typically run 4-6psi for some decent power gains. With minor fuel mods, at least on the Probes, it makes for a relatively inexpensive way to experience forced induction and learn how to tune. As for a 'serious' kit, I have no idea.
