2007 Cobalt Changes

Deletions

(46U) Blue Granite Metallic exterior color
(84U) Majestic Amethyst Metallic exterior color
(PF7) 15" aluminum wheels

New Features

(20U) Pace Blue exterior color
(29U) Sport Red Tint Coat exterior color
(U1C) AM/FM stereo with CD player
(US9) AM/FM stereo with 6-disc in-dash CD changer and MP3 playback
(NZ6) 16" High vent steel wheels on 2LT models
(NW1) 18" high-polished wheels on SS Supercharged Coupe
Black tie radios
(AP3) Remote vehicle starter system
3-spoke steering wheel

Changes

LT Coupe and LT Sedan now have 3 equipment groups
Power door locks are no longer available on LS models

I want to know about this Sport Red! Also I hope this new 6 disc in dash can fit into the 05's!

Also I think these are the new steering wheels

I think the 2.4L Ecotec might get a bump in power. Cheers and Gears reports the ION getting
175hp@6200rpm and 164-lbs-ft @ 4800 rpm (171@6200rpm/163-lbs-ft@ 5000 rpm)

BLAHHHH That steering wheel is horrible. I absolutely LOVE!!! my steering wheel . And Im very unique hooray !! Im a blue granite two-door with an ss wing. How many of those do you see around :P!!!

rpm guage maxes at 7000 and redlines at 6250?. no stage kit? any increase in power from factory?

Cool. I could care less about the CD changer or that other stuff. The new blue interests me, as does the 3-spoke wheel (easier to drive fast with), and the high-polish aluminum wheels (less prone to damage).

Thats a shame on the Blue Granite. Loved that color!

Thankfully, nothing major has been added to the car that wasn't there. Now, whats up for 2008?????

I think that you can still get the gunmetal rims. The polished is now a no charge option.
