Stage 2 will give you the best increase for the money. Or go stage 1(have it installed by dealer) and buy a 2.9" pulley/hub, belt and install it yourself. That will be cheaper with a little more gain.

a full exhaust sounds like a good idea though...

If you are thinking about stage kits, just buy a 2.9/hub/injectors and belt yourself, then have someone tune you. Stage kits are a waste or money unless you plan on keeping the warranty and not modding beyond GMPP parts

Stage 1 gives you the Stg2 tune and injectors. Stage 2 just adds the smaller pulley w/ hub and the belt. You can get a 2.9" pulley and hub i think for $100 and the belt from your dealer for about $38. The Stg2 w/ 2.9's are putting some nice power down. I dont know exactly but probably around 240whp or more. With a full exhaust and good tune added to that you can be around 255whp+ depending on the tune. Thats the way i'd do my LSJ if i were short on money.

Or you can do that, but that requires you to get someone to tune you and you have a harder chance of keeping your waranty

man just go ***** to the wall and get 60# injectors from lightening performance
and a 2.7/2.6 pulley stage 2 belt and a tune
you could do that pretty cheap
you might want some cooling mods though too like a heat exchanger

i wouldnt see why they wouldnt be different, it has to compensate for the smaller pulley and different hub as well, i may be wrong, but they have to be a little different.

I retract my previous statement; as retarded as it sounds, it appears the tunes are the same. WTF, that makes no sense to me why they would do that but whatever...
