it's not that it wasn't the opinion i was looking for, it's just that i see him on here all the time it seems like, and all the time he's trying to bash people's prices on what they're selling and so forth. I too have a job and go to school, but i'm not on here 24/7. i'm not trying to be rude, although it probably came off that way. i apologize for anything that may have come off as offensive. My fault bro! and one more thing... the SE-R SpecV doesn't come in an automatic... it's only offered as a 6 speed! just thought you might like to know that!

My buddy owns one and for the hell of it I tried him from 2 digs and 3 rolls...I got my ass handed to me consistently and we're about the same skill level with standard. I pretty much assumed this before I even tried it but humoured him anyways .

I used to have a Sentra SE 2.0 and that car is very comparable to the 2.2 Cobalt. You would win against a 2.0, but definately not the 2.5 in the SE-R. Yeah, I wouldnt try racing the SE-R Spec-v. They have a good bit of torque and believe me, they are pretty quick.

hey guys I was just reading your posts and it sounds interesting. The nissan looks like it has the same power as an Lancer and I raced with one he was ahead of me by two lengths, at the top of 3rd and i was fully onto the gas but i will tell you something he didn't gain very much distance on me, maybe another half a car length. mind you he did win, but i know i couldn't of beat him anyway, I drive a stock coupe ls.

The Lancer was one of those OZ rally editions I think they have like 167 horses, something like that. I was in forth when he went by, then down shifted to 3rd to catch up.

Sentras are Slow. The spec V only runs a 15.6-9ish stock.
If you are auto you don't stand a chance. If you are 5 speed, it would mostly be a drivers race.
I used to make crybabies out of Spec-V Owners all the time in my Alero.
All it had was an intake back then.
