LOL at this thead

to each their own man but if you want to look like a "bawler" go buy a caddy.

Huge rims are like gawdy jewelry IMO. they scream.. "hey look at me i'm rich!"

only difference is big rims don't mean you're rich... especially when you put them on a cobalt nevermind an 80's caprice

She is a OG, she may not have the likings of css, but she at least bought a lsj new, and took dang good care of it. I admit I was guilty at first of the troll train, but this woman is good people. Haters gonna hate, but at least we have a chick that bought a ss/sc new and took care of it, That we all can respect.

The CSS fads come and go. If you can't tell so far gloomy, some Cobalt owners aren't very imaginative. Most cars you see are carbon copies of someone else's. Paint color may be different, but mod lists are the same. I wouldn't sweat most of these people.

This.

It seems that no one has an imagination but when someone shows an initiative and try to set themselves apart then they get **** for it.

I agree. There used to be some guys on here who did their own thing, and I was guilty of giving them **** about it too for a while. But then I grew up. Seems most people don't realize that these are fairly cheap easy to mod cars. Keeping them all the same is ******* boring.

I'm guilty of the evo mod but I think it helps break up the yellow up front.

Evo mod is one thing, but when everything else is exactly the same, ***** lame. Like every base model wants to be an ss. Every body buys ss kits and tc grilles. It just gets old.

I mean, there are still people around here doing their own thing. I guess cause their cars are paid off and out of warranty now so they can. But most people just play it safe and worry what people are gonna think. Trying to make everyone else happy and ****.

Yeah, never understood the base model "SS". With all that money wasted you could probably buy a real SS

Yeah. I mean performance wise, I can see it. I supercharged my base. But dropping $1500+ for the body kit and **** just don't make sense. I'm still rocking stock bumpers with the only change to that being an SS front lip so my h/e don't show out the bottom. Haha

When I first joined CSS was pretty awesome! Lots of trash talk, I got made fun of for having a lt and not a SS blah blah blah. I found the lounge, and made friends. We still like to troll, but there comes a point where lines are crossed.

Well ******* with people is cool, as long as it remains friendly. Bashing people for doing something different and flat out talking **** because of it is just stupid. To me, that makes a lot of people "ricers", and I really hate using that word, but that's exactly the mentality I see a lot.
