Hey all, I'm looking at a 2006 Cobalt SS locally, however the seller tells me the guide bolt for the timing chain came loose, and rounded out it's hole.
He says it needs a new timing chain and head, I don't doubt needing a new timing chain after that, however has anyone encountered this sort of thing and know if the guide bolt ZZP sells would fix the issue with the bolt hole?

I don't know how exactly it all happened, so I'll likely try to take a peek at the pistons to see if there was any valve collisions, but does anyone else know of any issues that could of come up with this to check when I go look at the car? or anything specific to look at for when buying a cobalt?
