This information is readily available.

I've got a catless TurboXS DP I bought second hand.

There are plenty of options, given the Magnaflow kit is designed to bolt up to stock, it should fit the 2.5" ZZP quite fine.

Ecotec Parts 2.5 inch Stainless Cobalt/Ion Downpipe

I have a 3" cat back exhaust would it fit since this down pipe is 2.5"?

That same company that was linked to you sells a 3" downpipe as well.

You would need a 3" downpipe.

I had ZZP's 3" downpipe on my SS/SC.

I honestly wouldn't run a catless exhaust unless you have a Corsa catback which has the RCS resonator. I've heard catless SS/SC's and they sound like poop.... Very raspy and hollow sounding.

Most catbacks, regardless of catback diameter size, are designed to connect to the factory parts. I am almost sure it will bolt up to the OE size 2.5". If you can get under the car and look at the connection joint ( and measure ) I would see what your best answer is. You can get the 3" downpipe and make it work as well. Give ZZP a call and see what they suggest.

The O.E. SS/SC downpipe is 2.75" with a small 2.5" portion at the outlet. If the OP has a 3" catback he will need a full 3" downpipe. Most 3" catbacks have a 3" inlet flange.

A 2.5" downpipe or even the stock downpipe won't bolt to that. It is also silly to bolt a 2.5" downpipe to a 3" catback.

If it was the other way around it would make sense... 3" downpipe to 2.5" catback.

Get the 3" downpipe and be done with it... I'd never recommend a 2.5" downpipe on an SS/SC unless you plan on staying basically stock or no more than S2.
