If you don't have high end power to go with the midrange it's worthless. Thats like my Cavailer Z24. It has great low end but no top end and loses races almost everytime.

the company just needs to see that their would be enough interest for cutting the cars for the other intakes. no one has the intakes and no one is taking money for the intakes. they are simply trying to find out if there will be a market for them so they know if they should pursue the design.

im interested in another intake being produced thats great as far as gains go the intake tract on the cobalt isnt really as restricted as some other cars are so if it get s 10 hp then thats great too the more aftermarket support and competition the better.

I will get the muffler tip, the "apc racing" windshield banner, the apc seat covers and seatbelt pads, blast rock or rap music through my brand new road gear speakers and blow them in the process, all while leaning to the right hunched down with my left arm on the very top of the steering wheel driving like a low ridin gangsta.

Gee....what what I read here is that everyone wants proof that there will be a 25 horsepower gain as CLAIMED, but his design won't give it. So he is going to slink away muttering about 'controversy' so he does not have to be found out as a fraud.
SI, your intentions were good, he just fed you a load of BS and you bought it. If he could deliver what he claimed, everyone said they would line up to buy one.
Maybe it was just a case of him being optimistic and you taking it as Gospel. In any case, it does not matter, it won't be produced so there will be no proof one way or the other, but as I wrote above, if his design had produced a 25 horse increase at any RPM and did not choke off the top end, they would have sold like hotcakes. The only reason I can think of to not produce it is because it did not work as promised.
Too much 'controversy' to produce it......please....
