redesign the dashboard and center console, s/c the 2.4L, AWD(DREAM ON), some kind of funtional hood scoop(like srt4)

The car is a "Super Sport". I think it should live up to it's performance name just a bit better. I think a slightly steeper price tag would be feasible.
In addition to what was said and reiterating a couple things:
-Better engine mounts
-nicer interior
.... GM was targetting the tuner market tho... the cobalt will probably never compete -stock- with an STi or Evo

Real exspensive cars are great if your rich. This is a Chevrolet, not a BMW. Value for the money is key.
