I can squease about 50 mpg out of it according to the dic if i'm driving on back roads. that doesn't last very long though. I've not been able to get to 37mpg according to the dic, i had 36.5 today but actually it ended up being 35.5, which is pretty good for a bone stock (engine wise) 2.2, but still disapointing. that was 380 miles of 1/2 and 1/2 city and highway driving.

With my foot thru the floorboard at each stoplight/stopsign, I'm still averaging 32mpg in Town! and On the highway I average about 44.

I don't drive this thing slow at all, unless I feel like crap, or just out cruising the back roads with my girl.

If you do what the above post said and RESET the dang DIC at every fill up, you get what your Fuel Mileage thing Says...Range and all.

I only get Below 30mpg when I'm doing 80+mph

yes all cobalts do but its a pos thing. what i dont understand is why it switches to low fuel when your low on fuel. It would make more sense to show how much you have left that way you know whats up. Sure flash low fuel every once in a while and make it beep like it does but **** when im low on fuel i want to know how much longer b4 i must fill up

Guys don't forget the 2.0 is a tiny engine and as long as you don't get in it you'll get the benifits of that small of an engine by way of awesome gas milage.

I have a 2.2 and my overall average is 32.3 (I've never reset it in 2 years)... But last year when I drove to Mid-Ohio for superbike races, I was getting 37-38 mpg... Good times.
