3rd gen projector question
Okay I bought the third gen projectors and the housing says no HID no Xenon. How serious of a problem is that? I only ask because I want to put 100w Xenon bulbs in but I am afraid of melting something. Any input?

3BSpec sells them modified to work with HID's so the housings and all of that should be fine. All they do is remove a piece inside of the housings so the beam pattern is straight like it should be.

As suggested above, anti glare mod and hid's ftw

no, but it will keep you from blinding other people. When you do the anti glare mod, it removes all light above the cutoff line. That reflector was purposely put there to cause glare to let you see animals and signs, but will just end up blinding people when you have hids. That reflector is the reason why the headlights say no HIDs on them.

Same applies with your stock light housings, they are also designed to allow some light above the "cutoff". It's enough to light up signs with standard halogen bulbs, more than enough to blind oncoming traffic with the much brighter hid's.
