46degrees!!!

So i got in my car and my temperature gauge said 46 degrees. I thought it was a litle low. So on my way from class to work i checked again... Yup still 46 degrees which it was probably about 70-75 outside. Has anyone else had this happen to them or know what to do?

maybe the temperature sensor fell off the mount under the headlight?
