about the gas

do u have to use premium gas or not thanks

Yes sir you do! Running 87 or 89 may cause some pinging or knock which will cause the PCM to reduce timing and that will affect your power. Your car may drive fine but you will more than likely have reduced power.

or it could damage a piston... which you would replace= way more money than the added cost of gas... someone did a little research around here and figured it only costs about $160 a year more to put premium in instead of regular

Yes... you have a SS/SC... premium fuel is a must at all times.

I remember my dealer told me I could use regular 87 octane, I looked at him quite funny...
my baby only gets the good stuff
