I can state from experience with 2 cycle racing motorcycles, that adding acetone to gas (2 oz per gallon) will remove water.... increase the ratio and you may have problems: any thing from melted plastic parts in the fuel system to detonation.
Good luck!

Acetone seems a little extreme to put in your car....
vicious stuff...
ive done quite a bit of reading about toluene though, not really a mpg thing, more to do with octane...that stuff is no joke.
I dont know that id ever put it in the tank of my little hopped up econemy car....
but if 1400hp F1 monsters have run 84% toluene mixes...im pretty sure its not a hoax

Okay.... it's a gas tank.... the car runs on gasoline... sure you can throw other stuff in there... I know of people who throw rubbing alcohol or whiskey in there... but then their cars blow up... let's just stuff some K1 or jet fuel in there... it'll go like hell...
For heaven's sake people... USE YOUR BRAINS... there's been a scourge of stupid stuff like this floating around the 'net lately... if you want to blow your car up.... give me your address, I'll come over there and take the car from you.... you don't deserve to drive...
