Adjustable Shocks......
I've lowered my Cobalt about 2 inches with springs only. I've been looking into shocks and struts now to do it right. How do adjustable shocks/struts work. I know you adjust the rebound of them, but does that have any effect on the ride height? Basically, if I get adjustable shocks/struts, can my car ride even lower?

I know about the coil overs, they're just really expensive. i got springs a couple weeks after I bought the car, but I'm clueless with suspension and how it works.

Yah, cut the springs! All the Honda guys are doing it, you can too! It's the cool thing to do! OK just kidding. The springs are responsible for ride height, the adjustable struts are for controlling rebound. I highly suggest if you are lowered 2", get adjustable struts at the very least. I hope you had an alignment. Lowering that much can drastically alter your suspension geometry!
