Yeah, I'm in it for the long haul. I hear you on heavy mods, I am not NEARLY as deep in as you were. It's got a TVS. I let Wes tinker with it for a year or two. Now it has some issues. I'll probably back it off a little bit. I have a daily driver so the Balt can finally be a fun car.

All that time and money I (and others) put into this thing to show it's potential, and all I see are threads on slamming the car to the ground, making it nearly undriveable, stock power, and just about no one making parts still. (well cept for one company that I will not deal with)
hell I still was holding the stock m62 record until recently and I did that back in 06. hell look at how few still 400+whp cars there are, when it's litterally a joke to make that kind of power.
Ugh what can I say, I still work on the ones willing to push the envelope, other than that I'm ghost.

Yeah. I really want to get a SS whether it be SC or TC. Kinda want the SC because it's cheaper and I'd like to see what I could do with the supercharger cause I have a couple things in mind. But yeah you and area come off the top of my mind and you all made good power back then and no one else does it now. But I guess that's what you get when people don't care about their car and expect everything to run 100% all the time but they abuse it. If some people would look up the older threads like your turbo one and area's tvs one then they could probably learn a thing or two. I almost bought a SS/SC about two years ago but I waited too long and by the time I was going to buy it it was already sold. But I will get one eventually lol.

I hadn't looked at my member number until you mentioend this. Can't believe I'm member 524. lol
My car has had a couple rough patches since I got it in 06 but all my issues have been worked out and lately it feels like its brand new.
I mainly try to post helpful stuff and avoid the e-thugs/know-it-alls whenever possible.

I understand what they are doing. BUT why waste it on an SS model? whynot a base?

I just saw a hellafukd R32 the other day. I wanted to cry. I just told myself maybe they just badged it up to look like one. Surely someone wouldn't destroy an R32 with that garbage.

Do you really want them being able to go faster so that when their **** breaks they're just propelling themselves even faster into someone else?
