That's why if I keep my car and don't get a SS sometime this year I'm going for the stanced thing. I personally like it, but like you all said, I have a base model so it's not like it will matter anyways lol and on top of that an automatic, so I really don't care lol.

it's so dissappointing to see the direction people have taken this car.
All that time and money I (and others) put into this thing to show it's potential, and all I see are threads on slamming the car to the ground, making it nearly undriveable, stock power, and just about no one making parts still. (well cept for one company that I will not deal with)
hell I still was holding the stock m62 record until recently and I did that back in 06. hell look at how few still 400+whp cars there are, when it's litterally a joke to make that kind of power.
Ugh what can I say, I still work on the ones willing to push the envelope, other than that I'm ghost.

I still troll around here from time to time.
My Join Date is deceiving. I actually joined back in '05, bought the cobalt in '06, went to Basic Training in '07 and forgot my username and login, lol. Rejoined in August '07.
The Cobalt was sold in summer '09 to pay for a wedding. I was dying to get back into cars for a while. Picked up a '97 Jetta beater before I deployed in '10 and finally bought a house with a garage the end of last year and a '99 corvette to go in it on the 17th of this month.

I've been on here since 07 when I bought my 06. I don't post all that much anymore. I posted under another account for awhile before this one hence why the join date says 08.

I've been lurking this site since 05'.... I joined shortly after I purchased my SS/SC in 07', forgot my password, and re-joined at the end of 07' with my current user name.
Donna I remember your Cobalt very well.
P.S. It's nice to see all the older members in one place.

Thats for sure..... I haven't seen some of these names in quite awhile.
I've been around long enough to remember when people thought running a 2.79 on a GM stage kit was a good idea lol. The LSJ's have come a long way.... from MAf-t's to TVS hehe.
It's been cool to watch the evolution of these car's ..... to see the community figure out what worked and what didn't........ and all the holed pistons along the way.
