anyone else with this proplem
my cars been makeing this vibrateing sound and it sounds like its comeing from the sunroof. it only hear it when they sunroof is closed and the radio is off. but if the sunroof is open then i dont hear it. its not really a big deal but it kinda sounds like **** so i was wondering if anyone knows what it is so i can take it to the dealer and tell them what it is and have it fixed or even just do it myself.

if you look at the back of the sunroof where the roof metal is bent downward you can see that it is very close to the plastic that is part of the sunroof assembly.....this can be seen when the roof is open only so open it first......i had this problem too and what i did was take some pieces of a smoke pack and fold it and wedge it between the metal and the plastic.....seemed to work for me but i only had the problem when the weather was cold.....hope this helps.....Later

I was told that it's "normal" by my dealer. For some reason, the ******* sunroof doesn't close tight, so when you hit a bump, it rattles. They put some silicone on the tracks, and that kept it quiet for a few weeks. Of course, it's back. God damn dealers and their **** temp fixes!

I'm with you. No sunroof... No Problems...
anywho, sorry bout the annoyance. If you were in Florida, I'd tell you to take it to Courtesy of Longwood since they basically fixed my mom's car underwarranty when what broke was her fault, and they knew it. She accidently cut the seat fabric with her box cutter... and you could clearly tell it was cut (no other dealer would fix) I drove it up there, told the service tech it was cut...she goes, eh, looks like a defect to me, as she is ripping the seat fabric to make it look like a defect.
Anyways Try that stuffing cardboard or something up there to see if it fixes it, if it does, get some RTV sealant and seal put in there to cushion or stop the rattle.
