Anyone go from a supercharged base to an SS?

I'm just curious if anyone has made the transition and if it was worth it? (no I don't care if you hate the 2.2 and think they're crap)... Reason I ask is I'm about to SC my LT and am starting to doubt doing it. It's my DD year round so it sees some pretty crappy weather in the winter and I'm starting to think I might be better off getting an SS/SC for summer and drive my car during winter. I'm just not sure if an SS is going to be that much better than mine though(have a lot of time and money in mine already)

a supercharged 2.2 has just a tad more HP then an LSJ, plus with the SSS/C you have waaayyyy better handling, looks interior etc etc...

An SSS/C will be much much better then your LT in all regards, but if you ONLY care about power and nothing else then a S/C'd 2.2 will be a little more powerful.

I love my boosted 2.4. Would never change it up for anything right now. Also, there's more pride in building a 2.2 than simply buying an LSJ

Maybe so but it's not like the suspension bits off an SS are expensive. Just swap them over. Not that hard. :/

Should've added that I wouldn't leave the LSJ stock and likely would get a TVS. But anywho, that's the thing, my car is far from stock. I've got the most loaded model so I have leather steering wheel, sunroof, etc and I swapped in SS/SC seats, $2000 stereo etc so the interior won't be any nicer and I've got lots of handling upgrades. Just while I'm in school I don't want to get too crazy with the motor so I'm going really conservative with my SC setup. That's why I'm thinking the SS might be a good alternative so I can have a track monster without worrying about reliability. I'm just not sure if the extra ~100 hp is worth it
