Automatic Cobalt Shifters

I'm an inventory manager for a large car rental company and I have noticed a high rate of cobalt shifters being purchased for automatic cobalts(06's and 07's). What's happening is the shifter is locking up and preventing you from getting your key out of the ignition. Now, it's not yet, and I don't know if it's going to be, but this should definately be a recall situation, but I'm sure it's covered by warranty and is nothing to really worry about as far as your wallet goes. There are just a high volume of cobalts comming through my facility needing the entire shifter assembly. Just thought I would like to make everyone aware(if there has not been a thread about this already) about this issue. If you wish to look into this further, the GM part number is 15926820.

So far, there's just a TSB on the shifter asm.

I had to have my shifter replaced cause I couldn't take the key out. Haven't had the problem again since though
