Bad Girl Cobalt Lives

Hey guys, I know this car has been seen on here so we wanted to let you guys know it is still alive. The family in northern Virginia no longer owns the car, and it is at our shop for repair work since the family that owned it used it as a daily driver, and the new owners want it repaired. The current owners of the car are looking to sell the car to any interested buyers. Currently, the audio system is non-functional, and we have repaired the air ride system, and installed 80 lb fuel injectors so the turbo functions correctly when connected to the supercharger. As well as extensive rewiring of some major components. It runs well, and has been to a few local shows in our area. I hope you guys enjoy this car as much as we do. It's still a great ride, but has just lacked proper attention for a while.

I would have posted in the Classifieds, but it appears (since we just registered) that we cannot post it their. Here is the car as it is today.

There are more pictures available at our shops page. Southern Motorsports

WOW Looks Nice
Did you say the Turbo AND Supercharger?????

Or did you mean supercharger as in forced induction as opposed to the connotation of belt driver blower?

The turbo feeds directly into the roots style supercharger. So, yes, it is twin charged, and functioning. We are still doing PE tuning since she is running pig rich at 9.4:1 AFR. It is an awesome car though.

Wow, good to see it's in working order

What would it take to get the sound system functioning again?

We are actually looking to do a RWD conversion on a Cobalt with a T-56 transmission. The plans are in the works, and we will begin once we hit a minimal funding amount.

The amplifiers will need to be rebuilt, and the DVD player functionality is unknown.

Was it this car or KangolRiot who first had a twin charged setup on the cobalt?
Or was there somebody else?

The current asking price is $23,000. Any negotiation of that price can be done through my shop. Ask for Ryan. Contact information and more pictures are at http://www.southernmotorsports.us
I won't be back at my shop until Monday so I can take more pictures then. We do love having the car as it is the car every one who walks into our shop goes to first, and it always gets lots of questions. If you want a nice ride to show off this is it. Keep in mind it does need some work.
I will also take pictures of the engine Monday. That part has not gotten touched up yet so it does not have the flash of the rest of the car. There are little things that we need to fix before I can let the car go, but that should not be long from now. I do not believe the current owners will want to budget the audio system repairs though.

Looks like the car now has some sort of six pot brakes up front now. Corvette??

Interesting car.
