Arrow Basically want opinions

So basically i purchased a mazda3 s 5spd about 3 months ago and now am looking for a change.. But DO NOT by any means think that bc im wanting a switch that the mz3 is a bad car at all bc its not... its a great quick and economical car which i enjoyed alot.. i just didnt see much expandibility modifying the car without spending a pretty penny ....... so i think im going to upgrade to something that is more on the performance side rather that the economical side... ive narrowed my choices down to Civic si sedan, a mazdaspeed3 (lol), an rx-8 (i would really like to FI), and of course an SS cobalt... and the opinions i would like to hear is how much of a value to me would it be if i was to buy the new LNF or the previous LSJ?
any comments, opinions, or advice is welcome and needed
yall know more about this car than i do... all ive really messed with are DSM's

I think you should keep what you have and be grateful because so many people aren't that fortunate. Especially considering you've only had the mazda for 3 months. May I ask, how old are you?

I say keep the MS3. Those cars are beasts.

Either that or just get a 09 SS/TC.

What he said. Much more.

The only thing worst than what you are trying to do is if you buy a RX8. Well, unless you like paying for gas and you have a fetish on flooded engines.

well im kind of fortunate bc my dad took my old high school car the EXPLODER (thats what we call it) its a 2000 explorer that i put a nice sound system and all that stuff high school kids put in them... he took that bc his nissan truck he bought brand new 11 years ago finally broke with 312k miles on it R.I.P. ... so basically since i did down payment and tag tax etc... he said he really needs something better on gas and really likes my mz3 so he said he should be in a position pretty soon where he could take over payments if i wanted to get something else...

as said before. Narrow your search to the MS3 and SS/TC. The Si is a joke.

The TC has been lighly modded almost into the 12's already. And when I say "lightly", I'm talking exhaust and tune! The same company (Hahn racecraft) has put that car into the 12's with a few more tweaks. They are VERY moddable and quick. For the price you can't beat it.

Don't know anything about the MS3's though, except for the fact that they have been on the market long enough to have quite a few parts out for them, maybe someone else can provide that information?

Tri-point Engineering makes a very good turbo kit for the mazda speed. There was an article about it in a recent issue of sport compact car. Made numbers of about 250whp/tq, cheaper and more horsepower then the MS3, although there is allot less torque. Those numbers are running at only 10psi, the Mazda 3 Speeds stock boost is more like 15.

Not sure what the cost fo the kit is but I would look into it.

I say go with cobalt ss supercharged. LSJ FTW. You can get one for dirt cheap now anyways.

i dont think the si is a joke i just think its more built to stay N/A so ill prolly stay away from that.... and honetly thats why im lookin into ss/tc's bc ur absolutely right... you CANNOT beat there performance for the price.. they are the quickest FWD under 30k by far (stock)
