All cars should come with a cup holder big enough to hold a double big gulp

Write up

Instead of giving this it's own thread, until I get some more pictures I'l just kinda fill in here.

Tools needed (or at least tools I used)
Ruler, Phillips #2 screw driver, Dremel with Circle Cutter and Multipurpose Cutting Bit, Drill bit, and sharpie/marker.

1. Remove lid from arm rest

Remove 2 screws from hinge to remove lid from hinge.

2. Disassemble lid
Remove 7 screws from underside of lid and separate the top and bottom half.
Remove the rubber cover from the top half.

3. Partially reassemble lid.

You will want to cut your hole in the top and bottom plastic part of the lid at the same time. Put the halves back together and secure with 2 screws near the hinge and 1 near the latch.

4. Mark the center of your hole
On the top of your armrest (smooth side) measure equidistant from either side and draw a line down the center of the arm rest.
Depending on the radius of your cup holder, you may need to adjust the center of your hole. For mine, I measured so that the hole did not cover the 2 side screws. Mark the center of your hole.

You will want to be careful not to place your hole to close to the hinge as the interior of the arm rest narrows there.

5. Drill your hole for the circle cutter
you will want a bit the same size as the center pin of your circle cutter. Drill a hole and test fit your circle cutter. If you accidentally go too large, you can wrap tape around the pin to tighten the fit.

6. Cut your hole
Adjust your circle cutter so the bit will cut both halves of the lid and create a hole the correct size for your cup holder. Go slow and get a clean cut.

7. Test fit your cup holder
If the hole is too small, you can open it up a bit with the dremel. If the hole is too large, there are a couple of choices. You can use it as is, it may just be a little loose. Use tape to increase the size of the holder. You can also roll the top cover into the hole to hold it tightly (you may need to increase the size of the hole more to do this)
We will assume your hole is the correct size.

8. Disassemble and Reassemble the lid
Remove the 3 screws holding the halves together and separate the lid. Place the cover back on the top and reassemble using the same 3 screws.

9. Mark your hole to cut in the cover
Press the cover so it is flat against the hole in the top of the lid. from the inside, use your marker to mark the edges of the hole (draw a big circle)

10. Cut the hole in your cover
It is best to disassemble the lid again but it is not required. Using the scissors, cut the cover when you marked the hole. It may be be best to cut on the inside of the line first and make sure the hole is the correct size and location before remove additional material.
Test fit, and trim as needed.

11. Reassemble and install

Put it all back together. I run a hot glue bead around the bottom side of the top lid where it meets the cup holder, just to give it a little more grip.

That's it, takes about 20 min.

Just use the right cupholder, then you can use the armrest for your arm.
