Broke 100 000KM last month
Hey,
I haven't been on here in awhile. Anyway, just wanted to drop a quick post that I broke 100 000KM on my car in early October.
The engine still runs well, I need to replace the spark plugs now, but other then that it is in great shape still. The struts are a bit noisey too, but overall the car is standing up well.
Anyone else break 100 000KM yet?

Ordered/bought my car brand new October '06, and one year later she's got 32,600 miles on her. Daily driven every day, come rain or shine. I'd get a beater to commute with, but a. im broke and b. I love driving my car, especially considering I have a lengthy commute. The Pioneer sound system and heated leather seats make for a nice ride.

Wonder where i'll be at 19 months. Im sitting at 12 months right now.....i'll probally be around 40k maybe.....
My fellow SS friend who lives like 5 min from me (Pieeater) said he put 40k on his car this past year, so he's right there with us.
We should start a high mileage club thing to put in our sig man. Like "High Mileage Club Member #1" or something.

ya **** started going down after 60 with mine, i swear every light bulb possible on its blown out at least once, she creeks a lot more then what she used to to, probly one of the first 06s but i think these cars have the potential to go damn far with out major abuse

Jeeeez, drive the car man! I put 4k in on line 2 months, lol.
Then again, my car is my ONLY car. I'm only 20, so one car is about all I can afford. I might search for a $1,000 beater in the future though.

My SS/SC is also my ONLY car, I just don't get out much!
That's why dealers love me when I trade in my cars. I only had 7,500 mile on my 1 1/2 year old '04 SRT-4, and about 8,000 miles on my 15 month old '06 Focus ST.
LOL

My first Cobalt was a 2005 base coupe purchased in June 2005 with 6 miles on the odometer. When it was traded in September of 2006, it had 48 or 49,000 miles on it.
(by the way, I see the car still running around and gladly the people that bought it have had no problems with it and they take excellent care of it)
I purchased my 2007 Cobalt SS/SC in September 2006 and have just flipped 30,100 miles today. Aside from some road scratches and a damaged lower front valance (you hit a 20lb rabbit at 120mph and see what happens!), the car still looks showroom.
Oddly enough, I've had no problems with this car other than the first couple days I had it a year ago... It's run like a swiss watch!
