If your looking for a GMPP Performance Catback, goto Cobalt Addiction. They Still have them for $389.00 Most other sites have gone up to 545. Just a little FYI.

I dont understand why this went up in price, if it went up in size I might decide to pay 545 for it but not for a 2 1/4 exhaust

Yes GM has raised the price of the systems as of January 1 2008.
What you have to remember is that this system is made by Borla. Compare the prices between GM and Borla. Sample:Borla Link

GM has been more than fair with the prices when you compare it to comparable systems. Also keep in mind that this is an GM Accessory and that is the only system backed by the GM warranty.

Crate Engine Depot was lucky enough to be able to hold the 2007 prices by buying up systems that were shipped before the price increase. We were able to sell these at the old price saving a lot of you a lot of money. I wish we could have found more but now that all the old stock is gone so is the old price. We will continue to strive to keep our prices as low as possible.

As always thank you for your business and we look forward to working with all of you in the future.

Tom

Gm is going to lose money now. No ones is going to pay 500 for a crappy exhaust when they can get mangaflow and other nice 2.5s for nearly the same price...

You might see all exhaust systems going up with the cost of steel on the rise and ecspecially stainless.

I hoping Cobalt Addiction would have it at the end of the month, cause I'm waiting for my refund checks.

edit: Nevermind, it's up to the new price now.

Their $10 billion loss in 2005 and the $2 billion loss in 2006. You must not read any news about the state of American car manufactors.

GM has too many companies within GM itself competing with each other. If they dropped a few brands it'll help.

The source is MSN.com. You would know that if you right click on the pic and then select propoerties. I though anyone that wanted to know could figure that out. I guess some people are not as smart as I thought they are.

And I am not a writter for a paper.
