I got a buddy with an 06' ss/sc, I also have the same car, he claims the car has a downsized pulley but has no idea what it is, also claims it pulls 15psi and has no idea if the car has injectors, it does have the k&n CAI and corsa 2.5" catback. He recently had it tuned by this guy from Kentucky with hp tuners. He now claims that he sees 260 whp so I'm asking you fellas what you think, is his setup capable of these numbers?
I have a 2006 ss/sc ZZP CAI, ZZP Long tube header, catted downpipe,
60 pound injectors, 2.85" Pulley and ZZP Stage III tune, OTTP H/E, ZZP Intake Manifold pheonalic block, Dual Passs Endpalte, and pulled 270 at ZZP's dyno.
So ya, it's possible he pulled 260. I'm also pushing 15 psi boost

Two blower cars can have the same boost pressure, but with dramatically different horsepower levels due to different modifications.... My car only makes 14.3 psi, but I'm well above 270 hp.

Doesnt mean anything when comparing to the OP's friends car. It's not like on a turbo car, where you can set x amount of boost and make x amount of power.

long story short, as you said, comparing boost between 2 different cars is nearly pointless unless all mods are extremely similar.

I did notice that when I put on the ZZP Long Tube Header and Catted Downpipe, that
my HP went up and my boost went down. I actualy anticipated this result As for my mod list being larger most the things that is more, is just cooling mods.
