so just wondering if you can mix coolant? like the one from the uhh engine? lol is orange and the one from my heat exchanger is yellow and my heat exchanger was leaking a bit yesterday so I'm taking my car apart today to check out the problem and noticed that the orange one was kinda low. Was wondering if I can add some yellow coolant that I have in a jug to the orange one instead of having to go buy another jug of coolant since I barely bought this yellow one like 2 weeks ago

You can..i did and drove 15,000 miles on it, i wouldnt. I would use DEXCOOL. Its what GM put in the engine and they are the one that designed it. The only fluid i use thats not GM or ACDELCO is my oil, which i use valvoline:P I ended up having to do a coolant flush and put in dexcool

Don't use anything but dexcool in the engine cooling system. It's what it was designed to work with

Dex only. I would flush out your HE system and put dex then you only have to worry about 1 type of coolant
