I dunno. There don't seem to be a whole lot of them out there, then you've got to factor some people have bought them as collector cars, other people bought them with the intention of keeping them forever, and some will be lost to wrecks and whatnot.
Just me personally, I would never buy this car used. You don't know how it's been driven. I would not buy a 4 year old "performance" car that chances are people have driven like they stole it. I think you'd be better off to save your money up and buy a new one a couple years down the road, that's just my 2 cents.

anyone who thinks the Cobalt SS is a colloctor car is in serious need of a reality check.
They will hold there value better then anyother Cobalt.....but thats it.
New cars are all the same. Unless its some run of 500 cars needed to qaulify for some racing series and is very different from the run of the mill version....it is not a collector car.
They built several thousand S/C SS cars in 05. Very limited colours and very few options, make for car that is not unique at all. My 74 Formula 400 in sunstorm yellow is a collector car. It has appreciated in price.
You'll have no trouble getting a used one in a few years.
