It would be bad ass if it was a hard top convertable but i think its pushing it to even hope for a soft top. Also the spoiler would have to go. It just looks hidious and out of place with the convertable look. Might look ok with the low pro spoiler but not sure. wingless might be the solution

scroll down to the two Ray Craigs to see them.

Assuming you could replace the structural rigidity you loose by chopping the top off, they probably would have sold a few. Waaaay too late in the cars life to be doing now though.

And I would make it a 2 seater, make the rear deck a little longer, maybe lower too.

Or you could just get a Sky or Solstice I guess

it's based off of the SC concept.

it had that grill, but the same grill was used on all cobalts (before the TC)

considering that the cobalt is being discontinued after 2010, and replaced by the Cruze, the idea isn't all bad, but it will never happen

QFT! Then GM heard how all of the LSJ uys wanted it and decided to put it on the SSTC. SInce it was then an actual part on the car they knew they would make some money off of it in the parts departments. I was one of the suckers who fell for it. However, my insurance paid for it. Completely legal because they are GM parts. That was one good thing from hitting a porcupine back in July. The other were my headlights, but that's another discussion.
