Cobalt Mega Meet Idea? (Tail of The Dragon)
So, Ive seen the show on this road, my step dad went down and did it with his bike. Its the most known road in the world for clubs of all sorts to cruise. I would LOVE to set up a Giant meet for a weekend and cruise this beast. So much stuff to do down there as well. Let me know your thoughts!?

Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap, motorcycle and sport car two lane tourism serving Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap, Cherohala Skyway, Moonshiner28, Devils Triangle, and Six Gap North Georgia.

I live 10 mins from the dragon I get to ride it all the time most amazing and beautiful road. But beware of all the state troopers on it as well

It's not like you can really get up to a retarded speed there anyways.

There's enough people there, who are all there for the same reason, who will give you a heads up.

If you're interested in going as fast as you want, try a track day.

Way too many cops. No fun. They are on every corner and get you for going 3mph over the speed limit. They will pull you over for holding a camera or phone while driving and give you a ticket.

Haven't had a problem with cops there. Did not see one on the Tail last year iirc.

Ive read/seen to many horror stories... ill keep it slow and enjoy the road and the turns.

Lol well just stay behind me then. I did that road 3 years ago and had an absolute blast. Saw maybe one or two troopers but the weren't stopped and just passing through. I did it on a Friday and then again on a Thursday.

The biggest thing is never cross the double yellow; that's when you get yourself into trouble.

i am totally down for this. but id much rather do it on a bike. i wanted to get my gsxr up there but its now totalled thanks to a 83 yr old man cuttin me off.

I would possibly be interested. when i drove down to Nahville for teh 4th of July, we took Rt81 to US40, Went right by the blue ridge parkway, and the tail of the dragon is just south of that, below Knoxville. id love to do it. its the time off of work,a dn what time of year? its F*king hot down there come end of may,
