The only selectable extra-cost options are:

CF5 - Power Sliding Glass Sunroof - includes reading lights on rearview mirror
ASF - Side Impact Curtain Airbags (requires OnStar)
UE1- OnStar In-Vehicle Communications System - includes monochromatic mirror.

Of course we are Canadian so we don't get XM Sattelite Radio availability. Thank you CRTC  .

The car looks great though, it will own!!
(Just wish we had Canadian pricing)

Nice

Couldn't order any Persuit GT's... lol wasn't aware there are plans for one. The Persuit is only available in 4-door base or SE models.

GM isn't organized enough to have exact ground dates, although our orders aren't even preference or released to be built yet so it should probably be late october type thing. Either way, tomorrow's my last day before I leave for school (again) so I will check out the lots in Edmonton when I get there.

Why did GM change from a 2.4L to a 2.0L displacement?

Does anyone realize how light this car is?

Light? LIGHT? What are you calling light? 2900# for the SS is a freaking pig. Let's see look at cars more reasonable on the scales:

Celica GT-S 2400#
C5 Z06 3050#
MR-Spyder 2200#
SRT-4 2800#

2900 pounds is extra porky. I hope the NVH reduction merit the extra heft.

Actually the Cobalt is about average or maybe a bit high. Just consider these cars. The Lancer and the Mazda 3 both weigh in around 2800-2900lbs+

I read on a dealer's site that it was 2800 lbs which would make it average or below in my mind.

about the only tow in tis class that are lighter would be the Civic and maybe Corolla. And the Civis due for a redesign soon.

Pretty sure it still won't have ANY torque though!
