I think to many people get scared when they look at the sticker. Thats what they want you to pay, this will give them the most profit. They set it high because yes, some people will pay what the sticker says. They also set it high because the other people will try and deal with them, this gives them a margin to work with.

Well I got mine fully loaded (recaros, sunroof, xm, g85, etc..), for 22,200. Sticker was 24,890. All you have to do is negoiate. You also have to figure out what your payments are going to be at a price that you want. I figured 350 a month for a loan of 21,200. I gave then a down payment (1000) before they ran financing at the negoiated price. I knew that it was goint to be around 375 so I was telling the sales man before they ran the financing numbers that I need to be at 350 a month. They came back and tried to get me to sign for 375. I told them I needed 350, they said they couldn't do that. So I did what people told me to do, get up and walk away. I took a couple of steps and asked for my check back. Of course he had to go to the sales manager to get my check, so he came down to talk to me and I said I want 350 a month. He said wait a second and he comes back pretty quickly with a write up with 350 a month. Sold.
