Cobalt SS 272 Concept Car Up For Auction

This is pretty cool. It says it's not street registerable though.

Wow cool!

Sounds like its plagued with a lot of issues lol.

Factory retrofits... Hmmm.

The cobalt community should buy this car just to part it out

That's pretty cool if I could I would bid for it, I would probably keep the exhaust and rear bumper

Interesting concept car. It probably won't reach a high sale because of the cars past with recalls haha

Nice find. I like the wing. But why that choice of front bumper?

**** no. Parting it out would ruin it. Its literally the concept car, thats cool as ****. I would just keep it and drive it every once in a while.

I've always been soooo in love with that car. For me it would just be so frustrating and angry that I couldn't register it and it had to sit most of its life.

Probably just a GMS2. The SC was under rated from factory. They were more in the 240hp range.

I agree although as a car build by gm (concept) I wouldn't want to put many miles in it either lol

Nice! I saved pics of the interior, liked the placement of the cream details, just wouldn't have used cream

IIRC it was tossed around on craigslist a bunch and it used to have a front lip on it

Ya someone stole the front lip, I just bing'd it and here is how it originally looked. And tbh if it was me I would steal the body kit and interior to since its not street legal. And I'm a hardcore GM guy. Unless I could afford to make it a legit track car but then youre gonna lose all that nice interior for a cage.

Def adds some box/angles to the round cobalt body, the back bumper with center exhaust I surprisingly like. Not normally into center exhaust except for vipers and vettes. Some hatchbacks look good with it tho.

You can really see the green metallic that is talked about in the post. Pretty cool color

I think this paint is the closest I can find to matching it but its house paint. a Benjamin Moore paint. I bing'd for dark knight paint and a few other things before finding this. Black Knight 2136-10 Paint - Benjamin Moore Black Knight Paint Color Details

Looks like a good deal for a car someone could use for a build on a project car.

The lsj and the quaife lsd f35 make the 2,500 bid worth it for sure. It will go up a bit more but still.

The interiors different and I would really like to have the unique front bumper. Too bad that front splitter is gone /:
