Sold for 4,200, I wonder who got it. Hopefully someone who appreciates it. That color of paint was nice, I always liked dark green like on the c5 corvette. Did someone on here buy it??

Yep, a house is a better decision. I have a house, and I'm currently finishing my basement along with installing a fence for the backyard in the spring. Lots of money is going towards that stuff and is more important than a concept car....

but boy, if I didn't have any responsibilities I would have snagged it in a heart beat.

Im sure it would have got more if it could be registered and driven on the street. Its pretty much useless except for parts or a dedicated track car.

It would be useful as a collectible, but the idea of a Cobalt collectible is an oxymoron to most people, esp those with enough money to have a car just to sit in a garage. Being unregistrable certainly hurts a lot though. Can't even legally drive it to a meet and whatnot.

I'd bet a similar prototype of a Camaro would be a completely different story.

exactly the reason you'd be better off simply buying it and parting it out/using the parts/salvaging the engine etc.

Meh...

I would have restored it and made it a track car or show car and trailer it around if need be.

Exactly ^

Plus with the sell price would you even get your money back parting it out? Plus the hassle of the part out I would just leave it as is
