Cold waether=BAD!
Today I go out to warm up my car and its 7 degrees (Im around baltimore, MD) I let it warm up and my coolant temp the whole way to work never hit above 167 lol
everyone makes weire nioses, and none of this ever happened until the freezing waether came lol
I had to pump the brakes a couple oftimes, the fluid was really thick, I HATE the cold waether!

i started my car yesterday note and the coolant gauge said 12 degrees... and i let it warm up for 15 minutes and it was still only at 130 degrees

you think those temps are bad you should see them over here in MI. I started my car the other morning and the temp gauge said -4 and my coolant was at 3. I usually let my car idle till it reaches about 150. That way I have some warm air and it will get warmer as I start driving.

damn, I HATE THE COLD!! lol
Im from a small town called Parump like and hour and a half outside of Lasvegas, and I Love the heat, I cant stand the cold! lol
I let me car warm up and everything and its a good half hour drive to work never hit above 167, lol

cold sux.. i have a beater so i havent been driving the balt. well it was like 30+ this weekend so i drove it. and now i am going to take it to the dealler. i think something froze and broke when i drove it. it wakes this really bad clunking noise
thats what i was thinking. at least you have a garage. it can't be as cold in it.

it was 5 degrees this morning in cumberland, md. i usually start my balt 10 mins before i leave to get some heat pump but usualy by the time it hits 70- i have heat. my balts at home in NH in my garage since i have my girls cavy and let her warm up for 15 mins and i had instant heat

I must be a lucky guy then. My car warms up rather quickly. About 3/4 of a mile (all speeds under 30mph as well) and it's warm.
And I'm talking bitter cold as well, not what Arizonans would consider to be cold, 60.

any aluminum engine takes longer to heat up as it is a giant heatsink. the s/c versions make more power, and that creates heat. The cooling systems are made to cool, so in reality, it can idel for quite a while and not really heat up. Driving it heats it up. Ive only driven mine twice this winter, and i let it idle for 15 min, then take off. Warm air comes out in 2 or 3 blocks. A couple miles to start feeling toasty. Put on a winter front/solid bugscreen.
