Its neat but completely unecessary. Just like some of the Youtube comments said, any decent manual driver wouldn't be looking down at the shifter to know what gear you're in.

I agree with all of you. It's neat, but wouldn't be needed, would get annoying, and I would never buy it. More just something to show people who know nothing about cars so they say, "WOW!"

Lame, shouldn't need a set of numbers to tell you what gear you're in with a standard transmission. Sequential transmission I'd understand.

jus like you dont need a pattern to have on the shifter to know what gear you're in its jus somethin cool I guess... I wouldnt pay for it tho

I know some fresh class 1 drivers I work with that could use this. Average conversation goes like:

"What gear am I in?"
"Well seeing as you're doing 110km/h I'd hope to God you're in 10th. Pull over, I'm driving."
