Oh okay lol yeah I had figured you had posted a "how to" that was from something else but included the steps I needed. I was just double checking to make sure that you didn't think I needed to change the oil every time I add coolant LOL. Because that would have changed my trust in you LOL. It's all good though man. I"ll give this a shot. Thanks for the help it's greatly appreciated!

Okay I still haven't put the new coolant tank in but I have replaced the cap. Coolant is still disappearing. Oil isn't milky, no leaks outside, no white smoke, not overheating, pressure tested and only leaked 1 pound of pressure over an hour period time and the shop said that could have been there gauge, they removed spark plugs and seen no coolant dripping onto the pistons. I'm stumped. The car has a aftermarket ZZP radiator and I have no clue where this **** is going lol. Anything else to try????

I've been reading online to try and find similar issues and I've ran into something interesting. Could my issue possibly be caused by a bad water pump and the pump is just not leaking externally? Is there any way to diagnose a water pump? Contributions are greatly appreciated as I am stumped and so is the dealership and I am trying to cover every avenue.

Also would like to add when I took the car in the first time they told me my coolant sensor on the reservoir was bad which was what was causing the low coolant message but I did have low coolant! I seen the day I brought it home that the dealership left my coolant sensor plug unplugged and it's such a tight squeeze to plug it back up I couldn't get it plugged back up so I just said the heck with it if it's bad anyways. Well today I was checking the car out some more and decided to try and plug the sensor back up and I actually managed to get it plugged up and the low coolant message is gone now (because I have coolant in the reservoir) but I am still losing coolant. My reason for posting this message is because I want to know how you test the coolant sensor because the dealership said it was bad and i bought the 100 dollar coolant reservoir to replace it (have to buy whole reservoir because sensor is built in) and I think they are wrong about the sensor being bad and I want to test it myself too see.

I was looking at getting one of the Lisle spill free funnels to help bleed the coolant system when/if I decide to replace the coolant overflow reservoir. But I was also looking at the LIL-75500 kit that changes color and detects gasses in the coolant system thus indicating a head gasket leak. Could I get this kit and remove the coolant overflow cap and turn the car on and test it that way? What do y'all recommend? Someone chime in please?

I am just gonna rent one of the combustion leak detector kits that changes color. I should be able to hold it over the overflow reservoir while the car is running and detect it with it that way correct??

Okay I got the block tester kit (the blue fluid, test tube, and squeeze ball that allows you to test for combustion gases in the coolant system) I performed the test with the overflow tank and did it from cold to 190 degrees and the fluid did not turn yellow. So I guess all is good with the head gasket? While I was performing this test I did hear something that sounded like something "puking" something out but could not locate it (sounded like the overflow?) but I did not/have not seen any leaks. What would be the next step to take to try and figure this out? Help is greatly appreciated!

How can I post a video on here? I took one of me performing the test that I would like to post on here just in case it provides any help or insight at all in the efforts of trying to track down the issue I'm having.

Okay thanks for providing info on how to post a video. Seeing how it's all of that trouble to post a video I'm not going to bother. Can anyone tell me what I should test or look for now?? It only leaked a pound of pressure out over an hour period of time on a pressure test and the shop said that could've been their gauge not making a good connection, the shop looked for leaks externally and internally by removing spark plugs and seeing if coolant was dripping onto pistons, and it's passed the block tester test. Some help on what I should do next would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks
