Disconnecting battery quick question

I need to disconnect my battery to do a couple mods, will I need a code to make my radio work again? Or will it work when I plug it back in. Thanks!

It will work when you hook the power back up.

Not if the radio stays in the same car.

If you remove the radio from one car and install it in another, it won't work until it is reprogrammed by a dealership. The VIN between the radio and other modules must match for it to work.

Only thing you will need to reset is the clock and the settings for bass, treble, etc. Everything else on the radio will stay the same
