Btw the valves looked great after 5k miles with the PCV system, little to no buildup
weird. please email me or text me and I will make sure it zooms out to you. Happy for your results. You have a good thing going on there for sure

received my parts in the mail today! but i do have a couple of questions.

1) what do i do if my bolts for the current CAB's are seized on and i end up cutting them off,or some way get them off and they are not reusable?

2) what is the little black spacer for? is that for one of the bolts for the for the front mount?

3) what is the small aluminum spacer for that looks like an A?

4) does anyone know what size the axel nut is? and when putting the axel nut back on,what should i torque it to?

please read the how to emailed to you. The installation is relatively simple, the steps must be followed in order to avoid unbalancing the mount set. The bolts for the cabs should not be seized, but if they are follow the information provided on the cab thread i started. I can find the link if you cannot.

haha the last post on this thread was ....YOU...lol
I had an Impala today with seized cradle bolts. Normally we pour some good oxy/acetylene heat to it, but I think the way I described it works well for you cobalt guys... risk of fire and stuff like that makes it problematical to bring out the cutting torches...

The only source of heat I have is a small hand held torch haha

Where do I get replacement bolts if I destroy the stock ones?

EDIT: i found a part number and im hoping my friend (who is a parts guy at a dealership) can get them in a day or 2. id like to have them just incase **** hits the fan.

i wana make sure i have everything i need to atleast attempt to get this done in 1 day. along with installing my front powell mount too!

Does anyone know the axel nut size? And any list of tools needed. I looked thru the powell instructions and didn't see any. My friend just wants to know so he can grab all the tools from his tool box at work.

Thanks!

Sweet. Order a couple #11589009 bolts just incase the stock CAB is seized onto the bolt.

I've never messed thos suspension before other than putting lowering springs on. After reading the how to, it don't seem to be too difficult.

Printed out Powell's instructions and ordered bolts today.

Can you pick up that loctite stuff from any auto parts store? I've got anti seize but in the directions it says to put loctite where the cab goes into the control arm.

Yes, just walk in and say you need some loctite, does the how to call for blue or red loctite?
