lol I never thought the start of my thread would turn out like this. I just wanted to point out that all these negative things get annoying real fast. At any rate, alot of you are so damn funny what you post. There is a differance between whinning and pointing out negativity.

Sorry it's just that we were actually having a half decent discussion and then that happened. It just wasn't necessary, that's all.

I have put on over 11k miles on my car in less than 4 months.... i drive it like im in an indy car lol. It runs GREAT!!! it was a great purchase (especially saving like 7-10 thousand dollars with 0%) There are a LOT more people who have cars that are working great than cars that are not, its just they dont come on here to post of great their car is running. People do come on here after neglecting their car and complain about stuff that is their fault sometimes, sometimes its not. and whoever said 90% of problems with cars are manufacturer issues..... you obviously have NO experience working in retail because most of the problems are customers not using them how they are supposed to, or being too careless with them. If i have a problem with my car, i will come on here to post about it because i know i have a pretty good chance at finding the answer i need.

I've had mine since the end of June, and the only problem I have had was found when I took it in, original axles were bad, no expanation on my part needed, no questions asked (they knew I was learning to drive manual on this car). They had to order the replacements, but I had my car back the next day, and haven't had a problem since. Seeing how these held up as rental cars (not the ss/sc, but most parts are pretty much the same), influenced my desicion to buy one of these. There are going to be problem cars, from ANY manufacturer. I have heard of Hondas that had to have their cv joints replaced every 30k miles, and GMs that are still running strong at almost 300k miles. I have heard the reverse also. One thing you have to remember is that not everyone drives the same, not every car is going to be the same. Another is not every owner is on here, and for every 1 that has problems, there are more who don't.

As someone pointed out, you get what you pay for and with the cobalt you get a lot of teenage people who haven't learned how to play nice. They also come from a world were it's cool to bring down others. I'm not sure how the world got that way from the time I was in high school but it did. It's all about rep or whatever and if you put someone down you supposedly look cooler, or atleast that's how I understand it.

So that just means those of us that are grown up here have to stay grown up and positive. I personally ignore the stupid posts and pay attention to those who actually have something to say. It doesn't take long to find out who knows what they are doing and who is a good guy or not. Just try and remain positive yourself to help make this place better.

Very well said.

It's basically all you can do. If someone gets that fed up with a forum, they should just leave.

the only thing i have to complain about is the term "rice" being thrown around way too much for any single apperence mod..and yes people are going to have problems putting out high power # out of such a small engine makes really tight tolerances with parts and the more power you make your motor put out..the tighter those tolerances get to the point somthing is going to fail
