If you are producing 1500 watts at 90% conversion efficiency/12 volts = 137.5 amps.
At 1/2 volume = 69 amps. My e-rams draw 120 amps. That's why my lights dim.
I'll try going to a shorter, heaver gauge wire with an aux. ground and see if this helps.
Of course, I could just turn off my lights when I nail it!

i think our cars electrical system sucks cuz my lights dim when i roll the windows up and i have stock audio...the grounding kit plus a better battery might help this though

Our cars electrical is actually pretty good. 115 amp stock alternator is a nice thing, not to many years ago stock would be considerably less. And a lot of the electronics in the Balt draw very little power.
Celica you might want to take it to your dealer if your having those problems, you could have a drain in a component. That is unless your running a system, then nevermind, haha
