sounds like you live around my grandparents in bay city... anyways, i haven't had a problem with my a/c, and it gets pretty ugly here in houston. 95º with like 99.9999999% humidity at like 8 in the morning ahaha but even in that, my little cobalt's a/c works just fine.

i think the a/c is decent. my wife's cavalier gets a bit colder, i cant complain about the cobalt. we actually just took a road trip down thru nevada last week. it was nice and warm down there and the a/c didnt disappoint; even my wife didn't complain<---AMAZING!

just so you guys know. when it gets over 100 in arizona, it really doesnt feel that hot. i've been there and it wasnt as bad as it is on the east coast. for example, today your temperature in phoenix says 97, but it also says it only feels like 91 and your dewpoint is only 36. our dewpoint was double your's for the passed couple days. thats what makes it feel hot. so when its 90 here with a dewpoint of 73 or so, it really "feels" a lot hotter than you guys.

It's 117°F but it's a dry heat... As the rubber is melting off the rims...

I love my a/c, when the temp hits the upper 90s its average but when it's not too too hot out its really really cold.

Yeah in the older s-10's it had the crotch vent FTW when you work outside. Don't know if the newer trucks still have them.

i don't know, the A/C in my 07 SS could turn the interior of my car into a refrigerator. It was 96 here the other day and it was so nice in the car.

Maybe its jus because mines a early 05 , but ....I hate the AC in this car . It blows ice cold air , but on fully blast it just doesnt recircualte about the car very well . I seem to always have to have it on high to be comfortable . Another thing on mine , is the hvac does a HORRID job at pulling moisture out of the air . The cool air always feels damp and after awhile will start to condense water on all the AC vents . Been at the dealer numerous times , they say all is fine . Ive never had a car that did that though . Not really a big deal to me , I dont use the AC much anyways ...this is the first car in awhile Ive actually left it in

That what I was going to say. I just sold my 1995 beretta and this cobalt is a cool breeze compared to the Alberta clipper from my beretta.

I voted that the a/c sucks. Takes like 20 min to cool down on high with recirculate on when 90 outside and in the sun. Again like others, have had a few other vehicles that would cool it down like a refrigerator in minutes.

My **** blows snow ***** for real .

My other half who drives an 8th gen civic even says:

Your car is really quiet

Your car has really good heating and air ..

this is from a die hard Honda fan

I like the controls in the Honda better but the balt blows more air , gets hotter and colder faster.

Interesting notations on the Cobalts a/c. Funny how half the cars a/c is like ice and the other half sucks monkey *****. I think I am going to find that guage of mine and see if this baby is low on r134a.

My 2009 SS TC blows Ice Cold air. Thank God !! , cause it takes a lot to cool my 300 lb body..

My '06 2.4 had great A/C. Especially compared to the Wrangler I had before it.

My '10 SS A/C works just as good. My Wife's a/c in her 2.4 '09 Malibu blows.. takes forever to get cool on a hot day... I'm guessing it's because of the much larger cabin. When things like a/c are considered - it's better to have a smaller car.

Mine is cold as hell. Colder then any car I've owned or drove. It's been high 80's here for 2 weeks straight, and I have it on high for like 5 minutes, then I have to turn it down to 2/3ish cause it's too cold.
