If you consistently have 2 or 3 people, should you/I air up the tires a few pounds?

Ive always wondered this actually. If you out air in the tires when the car is up in the air doe the psi go up once you drop the car lol
Id say put a psi or two in the back to account for the subs or a psi or two on the drivers side for your fat ass whichever it is

No, it does not change. You can load or unload the car, the psi will not change. What will change is the contact patch of the tire touching the ground. PSI, after all, is pound-force per square inch, therefore when there is more weight on the tire, more square inches will be needed to even out the force of the car. Of course, if the tire gets so low or the weight so high that it starts collapsing in on itself, the pressure might artificially go up.
The reason for airing up the tires when under a large load is to decrease/negate the added contact patch the load is causing. This will yield in a better ride quality as well as better fuel mileage.
